Ever feel like your brain is stuck in a game of ping pong? One side says “Go for it,” and the other says “Wait… what if you mess up?” It’s the constant back-and-forth between wanting to take action and second-guessing every move. For business owners, agents, and entrepreneurs, this mental tug-of-war can be exhausting — and it keeps us stuck.
Overthinking feels productive, but it’s usually just fear in disguise. We play out every possible outcome, trying to avoid mistakes. But perfection isn’t the goal — progress is. Action creates clarity. You’ll never think your way into the perfect plan, but you can move your way into better results. The first step doesn’t have to be huge — it just has to be forward.
So if your brain is bouncing between “what ifs,” hit pause and ask, “What’s the next right thing I can do?” Then do that — even if it’s small. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to get out of your head and into action.
